There are 10 lawn bowling clubs in Alberta. 4 in Edmonton; 4 in Calgary; 1 in Lethbridge and 1 in Medicine Hat. Commonwealth Lawn Bowling Club in Edmonton has an interesting history that has something to do with Commonwealth Games in the 1970s. On May 10th, HanTV checked on the open house at the Commonwealth Lawn Bowling Club. Crowd of different ages threw their first rocks on the green. Lawn bowling is an interesting sport. It is easy on your body but tricky to play. You got to try and see.
