Opus@12 Chamber Concert Society, the only amateur performing group in Edmonton, plays chamber music for the community. Their performances are informal, so the audiences can eat and mingle while enjoying free music. It is like in the Middle Ages and the early Renaissance, music was played in the palace chamber and in an intimate manner where audiences are just in arm’s length with the musicians. It is quite an experience as compared with full orchestra type of concert.
