24th AfroQuiz was held at the Stanley Milner Library Theatre on 27 February, 2016. AfroQuiz is a Jeopardy-style quiz competition that celebrates the rich history of African descents over the world. It is a part of celebrations in the month of Black history. AfroQuiz is open to public. The theme of this year is literature. Questions are classified into Folktales, Canadiana, Featured Author, Poets & Poetry, and Current Events. Contestants are divided into 5 categories which are 9 & under, 10 to 12, 13 to 15, 16 to 18, and post secondary. Winners are rewarded with prizes.
