Kita No Taiko is preparing for a concert with fusion of Asian music that includes taiko, er hu, shinobue, koto, tabla, guzheng and choir. HanTV had a peek at their rehearsal on taiko and er hu ensemble.
To celebrate Asian Heritage Month in May, the concert “Rhythm & Roots: Harmony” will be held at Convocation Hall, University of Alberta from 2:30 to 3:30 pm on Sunday, May 5th, 2019.
