Impact, the only marching show band in Edmonton, is getting ready for Marching Show Band Classic coming on May 4th in Red Deer. As the band director Michael England describes, marching show band is a form of musical sports. Basically, a show band is composed of Percussion, Brass and Color Guard. Members have to go through vigorous practice to perfect the formation of choreography and music arrangement with high demand in accuracy, precision and creativity that results to a good choreographed field show.
