It is Up+Downtown Music and Art Festival’s second year celebrating independent music and art in the city of Edmonton over the Thanksgiving long weekend October 10th to 12th. The festival features more than 50 local and international bands and musicians performing at 10 venues in downtown Edmonton. On Saturday, the crowd gather at a block party on McDonald Drive between 101 St and 102 St to enjoy outdoor DJ music, dancing, art exhibition and food. The organizer is committed to provide the pubic with professional music and art outside of the summer season and to pump up the vibrancy in downtown Edmonton.
