LUNAR NEW YEAR GALA HEATS UP THE WINTER CITY 2015

The Kingsway District Association (KDA) along with partnering associations: West Edmonton Business Association, North Edmonton Business Association and South Edmonton Business Association and Diversus Media Group was hosting a 2015 Lunar New Year Gala, namely “Welcoming the Sheep, a Gateway to a LNY Celebration”.
The crowd gathered at the Chateau Lacombe in downtown Edmonton on Friday, February 20th to support local businesses and cultural diversity from all four corners of the City. This is the first time a group of non Asian specific organizations work together to create this fascinating cultural event.
There were New Year market, photo booth, fusion dinner, and entertainment featuring Hong De Lion dance, VaccinAsians, Convergence Dance Crew and Korock Nanta. Celebrity MCs Kimberly Wynn and Josh Classen amused the crowd further with their personal touch of humor and charm.
