The Chinese community in Edmonton is adding a new festival to the cultural landscape of the City of Edmonton. Hundreds of people gathered at Churchill Square on Sunday, September 14th to celebrate 1st Mid-Autumn Lantern Festival with 8 hours of programs and activities. The Festival amazed the crowd at the end with lantern parade and casting of over 300 lit up “boat of wishes” at the pool in front of the City Hall.
