Mid-Autumn festival is the second largest festival following Lunar New Year in Vietnam. It is also a children’s favorite festival where they can showcase their colorful costumes and lantern, and have festival food like moon cakes and many sweet treats. Edmonton Viets Association celebrates Mid-Autumn Festival a week in advance at the City Hall on September 20th. The public learn about Vietnamese culture through activities like lantern contest, games, exhibitions, music, dance, and other performances.
