Awaiting the lunar new year, Buddhists gathered on the lunar new year’s eve at International Buddhist Progress Society in Edmonton of Alberta. There were lion dance, chi kung, folk song and dance, mini new year market, and greeting of God of Fortune. Buddhists strike bell and made their first offering of incense to Buddha in the new year.
