EDMONTON CHINATOWN CHINESE NEW YEAR CELEBRATION 2014

Chinatown and Little Italy Business Association was hosting its Annual Chinese New Year Celebration in Edmonton Chinatown on February 1st (i.e. the 2nd day of Lunar New Year). The crowd braved the freezing temperature of around -10 Celsius on 97th Street and 105 Avenue to experience the only outdoor Chinese New Year activity in town. The organizer and dignitaries from the governments sent out greetings to the crowd. Then followed the firecrackers, lion dance and dragon dance.
