Fruits grown in your backyard can feed many hungry kids in the city. Reduce food waste and feed the hungers. E4C and Fruits of Sherbrooke join hands to launch PROJECT: FRUIT STARS to feed hungry kids in the city. Project’s goal is to raise $17,000 through Kickstarter.com, running for 3 weeks until mid-September 2015.
Funds will go towards equipment, supplies and packaging to produce 50,000 apple snack bags, which will be donated to E4C’s School Nutrition Program.
